How can we help?

Answers for the things agents ask most. If yours is not here, write to us and a person will read it.

Getting started

Zignin is an iPhone and iPad app for practicing real estate agents.

What do I need to use Zignin?
An iPhone or iPad and an open house to host. Creating an account is optional, so you can install the app and start without signing up.
Do I need an account?
No. An account is optional. Using Zignin without one keeps app data on your device. Creating an account adds cloud backed account functionality.
Can I use Zignin on iPhone and iPad?
Yes. Zignin is built for both. Most agents run the app on iPhone and set an iPad out for visitor sign in.

Open houses

How do I start an open house?
Capture the property you are hosting, or pick it from your Collection if you have hosted it before, then start the hosting session. Visitors who sign in from that point belong to that session.
How do I end an open house?
End the hosting session in the app. Zignin closes the session and shows the recap for it, including visitors, lead breakdown, and XP earned.
Can I host the same property more than once?
Yes. A property in your Collection can hold multiple hosting sessions, so repeat open houses at the same home stay together instead of creating duplicates.
What is in the session recap?
The visitor count, the hot, warm, and cold breakdown, follow up opportunities, XP earned, and any achievements or personal bests from that session.

Visitor sign in

How do visitors sign in?
Put the device into kiosk mode and hand it to the visitor, or leave it on a table by the door. They answer a short set of questions and the entry becomes a lead attached to the current session.
Can I change how the kiosk looks?
Yes. There are three visual kiosk themes, and the kiosk shows the property photo along with your agent branding.
Will visitors see my XP and rewards?
No. While the kiosk is in use, Zignin holds agent facing XP, celebrations, and reward interruptions until the open house ends.
Can I stop a visitor from leaving the kiosk?
You can turn on agent PIN protection, so returning to the rest of the app requires your PIN.

Leads

How does lead scoring work?
Leads are organized into hot, warm, and cold so you can see who to follow up with first. Zignin does not use AI to score leads.
What is stored on a lead?
Contact information, the visitor responses from sign in, notes you add, a timeline, the pipeline stage, and the session the lead came from.
Does Zignin send follow up emails or texts for me?
No. Zignin organizes the follow up list. Sending the message is still yours to do, from your own phone or email.

Collection

What is the Collection?
It is the visual record of every property you have hosted. Each property you capture becomes a card, and the sessions you host at that home stay attached to it.
Where do property photos come from?
You choose them. Zignin can ask for camera or photo library access so you can shoot a photo at the property or pick one you already have.

Earnings

What can I track in Earnings?
GCI, sales volume, transactions closed, open houses hosted, annual goals and progress against them, earnings by source, and career performance over time.
Do open house leads connect to Earnings?
Yes. A closing created from an open house lead contributes to the same Earnings view as a closing you log manually.
Does Zignin import my commissions automatically?
No. There is no MLS or brokerage import. You enter closing and commission information yourself.

Subscriptions

What does Zignin cost?
Zignin Pro is $19.99 a month or $149.99 a year, with a 14 day free trial. Both give you the same features.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Zignin. Apple handles billing and cancellation for all plans.
What happens if my subscription expires?
Your existing business information stays viewable in a limited mode. Pro actions that modify business data need an active subscription again.

Restore purchases

Use Restore Purchases whenever Zignin is not showing a subscription you have already paid for.

When should I restore purchases?
After reinstalling Zignin, after setting up a new iPhone or iPad, or any time the app asks you to subscribe when you know you already have. Restoring never charges you again.
How do I restore purchases?
Open Zignin, go to the subscription screen, and choose Restore Purchases. You must be signed in to the same Apple Account that originally bought the subscription.
Restore purchases did not find my subscription.
Check which Apple Account is signed in under Settings, then your name. Purchases are tied to the Apple Account that made them, not to your Zignin account. If it is the right account and the subscription still does not appear, contact support with the purchase date.
Do I need to buy Zignin again on a second device?
No. The subscription belongs to your Apple Account, so restoring on the second device unlocks it there too.

Accounts and data

How do I delete my account?
If you are signed in, go to Settings, then Account, then Delete Account inside the app. That removes your Zignin account and the associated cloud data through the deletion process built into the app.
What happens to my subscription if I delete my Zignin account?
Deleting your Zignin account does not cancel your Apple subscription. Cancel it separately in your Apple subscription settings, or you will continue to be billed.
Where does my data live?
Some app data can exist locally on your device. If you create an account, account backed data can be stored in the cloud through the service Zignin uses for accounts.

Privacy

What happens to visitor information?
Visitor sign in information is captured for you, the hosting agent, so you can follow up. Zignin does not sell personal information.
Why does Zignin ask for camera, photos, or notifications?
Camera and photo library access support property, profile, and branding imagery. Notifications support app reminders and agent facing notifications. You can decline any of them in iOS Settings.
Where can I read the full policy?
The full Privacy Policy is published at zignin.app/privacy.

Troubleshooting

A visitor sign in did not appear in my leads.
Check that the hosting session was still running when they signed in, and that the app was not closed mid entry. If it is still missing, contact support with the property, the date, and roughly what time it happened.
My purchase is not showing up.
Confirm you are signed in to the Apple Account that made the purchase, then use restore purchases in the app. If it still does not appear, send us the date of purchase.
The kiosk is asking for a PIN I do not remember.
Contact support before deleting the app, since reinstalling can remove data that lives only on the device.

Still need a person?

Send what happened, the screen you were on, and your device model. That is usually enough to sort it out in one reply. Zignin is run by one working agent, so replies come from a person rather than a queue.
